Drs. Rodney and
Adonica Howard-
Browne arrived in
the USA in 1987
and began to
conduct revival
services all over the
United States.
The wave of Revival
started in 1989 in
Clifton Park, New
York. From April
1989 to the end of 1992, the meetings were mainly in
churches under 1,000 members.
However that began to change in March of 1993 as
God opened larger venues, like Carpenters Home
Church in Lakeland and Calvary Cathedral, in
Forth Worth.
As news of the revival began to spread, even bigger
venues across the USA, Canada and other parts of
the World, opened, such as the Singapore Revival
in 1995, where crowds of up to 30,000 filled the
stadium on the final night.
There was a tremendous hunger for revival and this
continued into early 2000’s when crowds began to grow smaller. This is indicative
of most historical revivals that
God sent in waves that lasted 10 to 15 years. It must
be realized that the impact of Dr. Rodney Howard-
Browne and Revival Ministries International,
continued to be felt across the globe.
From the late 90's, God began to place a burden for
souls on Dr. Rodney's heart and a new thrust for the
ministry began with Good News New York, July 7-
August 14, 1999 at Madison Square Gardens in
New York City where 48,459 decisions were made for
Christ during the six- week crusade with five
thousand volunteers from 36 states and 22 countries,
who came to share the love of God.
Shreveport-Bossier. Louisiana Crusade followed
from June 20, July 29, 2000, where 59,247 people
committed their lives to God and about 6,000
backsliders made a fresh commitment to the Lord.
It must be realized that the impact of Dr. Rodney
Howard-Browne and Revival Ministries International,
continued to be felt across the globe.
After the success of Good News New York July 7-
August 14, 1999 and Shreveport-Bossier.
Louisiana, June 20, July 29, 2000.
South Africa was the next focus with Good News
Soweto crusade held from November 8 - 14,
2004 for 10 days with a harvest of 177,000 souls that
surrendered their lives to Christ.
The following year in 2005, a crusade called Good
News Umlazi was held from May 27 to June 5,
2005 at King Zwelithini Stadium, Umlazi,
Durban. (pronounced Um Shla Zee) There were
286,750 Decisions for Christ! See full report
Good News Mamelodi (near Pretoria) was the
next mass crusade , held from October 26-30,
2005 at the Mamelodi Cricket Ground. There
were 113,000 Decisions for Christ! See Full
Report
Two further mass crusades were conducted with
great success with Good News Mdantsane, East
London, South Africa from June 7-11, 2006 at
Sisa Dukashe Stadium. This crusade had a harvest
of 70,489 Decisions for Christ!
Then from January 10-14, 2006, the Good News
Vizag at Visakhapatnam, India was held with 50,000 Decisions for Christ!
It was soon after this that God directed Dr. Rodney Howard-Browne to launch the US Nation Wide Great Awakening Crusades to reach the United States with
the Gospel of Salvation.
In 2007, RMI held 21 Great Awakening Crusades 10,480 Harvesters and 268,299 Souls and in 2008 there were 33 Great Awakening Tour Crusades with
20,974 Harvesters and 593,332 people prayed the pray of salvation.
In 2009, the Great Awakening Tour touched Bergen Norway, Copenhagen Denmark, The UK, Saint Petersberg, Russia, Riga Latvia, Papua New Guinea.
Buenos Aires, Argentina, Brisbain Australia, and East London South Africa.
In 2010, the GAT made it’s way to Roscoe, Illinois, Virginia Beach, VA, Norway, Copenhaggen, Denmark, Gothenburg, Sweden, Oslo Norway, Warsaw Poland,
Zimbabwe Africa, Melbourne Australia, Haiti, San Pedro de Marcoris Dominican Republic, Santa Domingo Dominican Republic, Salta Argentina, Buenos Aires
Argentina.
The momentum increased greatly from 2011 - 2015 and several teams were raised up so that many GAT’s were running simultaneously. The net result is as
of Jan. 2015, there are 101 countries and 3899 cities winning the lost with total count of 5,695,320 souls!

The World Map below represents a Snapshot of revival / great awakening meetings from
1989 - 1999 (Blue dots) and 2000 - 2013 ( Red dots). Each dot represents a week of
meetings, usually 2 meetings per day and on occasions, night meetings only. Many of the
dots overlap because of size constraints, however, it serves to illustrate the extent of
outreach in certain demographics.
